I've spent two days looking for a new laptop but have ended up bewildered by what's on offer. I have seen a few I thought I liked but have been put off by reviews posted by other people who may have been looking for a much higher spec than I need.
The problem is that I don't really know what processor, ram etc I should be looking for to use on a daily basis. I don't need the power to play games requiring a high spec.
I don't know

Don’t know what you have to spend, but this is a superb laptop, recommended.

Refurbished, but these are generally brand new.

Got to be honest, but HP laptops are good enough for me. Use, chuck away, upgrade after a few years.

Although the one I have I only bought a year ago, I have found that it doesn't have quite enough "umph" to run the iFollow live streams smoothly. Fortunately, I also have an ASUS note pad that does the job easily.

For the laptop, iFollow recommend a "minimum processor speed of 2.33GHz or faster x86-compatible processor", so that may be a good starting point.

My laptop has a quad processor, so it can do a few things at once without one adversely affecting another. It also has 8GB of RAM, which seems enough for what I need. For us oldies, everying else is just gilding the lily!

Good Luck!

Thanks for that. Should be easily fast enough for the sites Tache keeps recommending.
