Very strange. No flair with Paterson and Tomlin on the bench.and no natural right back or wing back.

That was an incredible result, given the quality of the opposition and the missing players. That said City has a couple of other clear cut chances Bamba & Hoilett, so the winning margin could have been even greater.

Ward & Damour were superb today.

I don't know whether that miss, if a goal, would have been the turning point that many have suggested. City have come straight back from conceding on a number of occasions this season and, on Saturday, we were very sharp on the break and could have had a couple more at least.

Brentford may have had a few shots but few of them were really troubling.
