First topic message reminder :

Ollie Holloway's teams used to have the edge on City, especially when Malky was in charge, but not so much recently. Warnock v Holloway today is going to be intriguing.

Although not generally liked by City supporters, Holloway, to me anyway, has always seemed to be an admirer of our club. I actually like the bloke.

Can't see that any of the fringe players did enough on Tuesday to warrant a start today, so I expect to see he same team that started at Wolves. That said, Tomlin for Damour is a possibility.

2 - 0 City

Some nervy defending towards the end, but the attack always looks capable of breaking away and scoring.

The BBC Championship news ticker is asking the question "could Neil Warnock do it again"...doesn't it feel good to support a team on the up?

Felt pretty bad for caulker who looked like a defeated man coming off the pitch. He's a good guy but he struggled today - had many deer in the headlights moments I remember well from his days with us.

Mendez-Laing is genuinely up there as one of the best footballers ive seen in this division. He was beating defenders for fun and winning balls he had no right to.

The referee had a terrible game - Caulker nearly ripped Zohores shirt off of him leads than a few metres from him and not a word was said.

We got a little cute at times in the second half, Damour in particular was constantly searching for little passes within the box when honestly the better option was just to take the shot from the edge, their keeper looked dodgy.

All in all, pretty impressive. The scoreline flattered QPR - the disallowed goal should have stood and we hit the bar at ridiculous angles on two occasions as well as forcing two excellent saves. Could have been 5-1 very easily.

Another top result. Interesting comments from Holloway at the end - the best Cardiff side he has ever seen, apparently.

The team that lost the playoff final to Holloway's Blackpool wasn't bad ........

And they are forever tainted with that result and the absolute spineless dogshite they served up at the end of the following season.
