Back in the BMB House

on Fri Jun 16, 2017 8:38 pm
That's right! A week long training course and a whole load of weekend activities has kept me offline but I'm back again.

What did I miss?

I notice you've all gone a bit quiet Don't make me do a shitty poll to get things going again

It's possibly been one of the quietest weeks for city too - with the Grenfall tower disaster and no new city news, it's expected to be a bit quite I guess!

I'd be surprised if you ever guessed my job as, frankly, I don't know what I do either

Luton ...... home of Easyjet and hat makers ....... nope

Leek ...... Britannia Building Society ...... red herring

No, it's definitely something to do with further education, probably on the arts side of things......

Well there's an airport in Luton but I've never seen a space shuttle there?

I'm not saying that there's a James-Bond-style-underground-lair in Luton that houses a space shuttle but I'm not saying there isn't either...

If you look at the other boards, they have a far greater number of posters, but they too are pretty quiet. AAMB only has a handful but they have multiple accounts and Anus will post any garbage to get hits, CCMB also is not as busy as it used to be, so this one isn't doing that badly, considering 99% is City related.

Good point - this really must be the quietest time of the year for club football. Nothing going on at all.

We'll keep pushing but the real test will be late August and September

That's reassuring insight Cleeve - thanks!

I haven't been on CCMB since the blue switch, the vitriol on there got too much for me and the site was looking and feeling very old and unusable (not sure if it has been upgraded in the interim).

It would be good to get some more regular posters on here but not at the expense of bringing in a load of idiots (I'm sure you know the type I mean )

Comparative with Tech companies:

Microsoft massive volume crap products

Google. Appealing to the masses.

Apple. Quality products but a lot lower volume

Work out which applies to Cit m/bs
