Matty Kennedy

on Wed May 24, 2017 8:45 pm
Will Matthew kennedy make the grade?

A player returning from a successful loan spell is Matthew Kennedy following a promotion-winning campaign with Plymouth Argyle.

Kennedy impressed Warnock during his short time with the veteran boss, but it was decided he was to spend time on loan to pick up regular playing time.

The winger has been very good, albeit in League Two, and Neil Warnock is a big fan of the Everton academy graduate.

Is he better than Junior Hoilett and Kadeem Harris? perhaps not, but he could still provide a good option for the Bluebirds next season.

Like many others, he will get his chance to impress during pre-season and he has a real shot of making it into the manager’s plans.

Came on against Rotherham last season and looked excellent (albeit in a hammering) and looked good in spurts for the U23's. He's a typical winger with flashes of brilliance mixed with spells of anonymity but the spell at Plymouth should have done him good.

Yes, one definitely for the squad next season. The loan spell in a good Plymouth side will have done wonders for his confidence.

Could end up feeling like a new signing, although in truth, having not seen THAT much of him he kinda still does anyway...

I always thought he looked a good player, he seemed quick, tricky and took a decent set piece. I'd be happy to see him back and I think if Harris is holding us to ransom (which seems to be the case) I'd be happy if Kennedy was his replacement

What are his demands? To be released from the Slimfog dungeon and have all the KY scooped back out?

On the demands front, he can't actually verbally tell me as he frequently has his mouth full

Seems to be some confusion here. Those in the Slimfog dungeon are held for ransom, they don't make their own ransom demands.
Conversely, Trash's relatives pay us to keep him in there.

Otherwise Trash would have no-one to converse with. Using a chalkboard of course.

The Slimfog family dinners must be a real hoot...

Cardiff at their worst are painfully slow to watch - Kennedy can at least do a job there.

What is really troubling is the fact that Arkay has the word "slimfog" in his dictionary in the first place ......

It's the term I use to describe the state of a room after I've finished off a post-coital panatella
