Yes but the same applies as Ledley about wages. Although, I do think Hennessey would represent better value for money in the long term as Goalkeepers careers tend to last longer plus at 6ft 6in you get more of him.

Having a solid fella between the sticks is nigh on essential to a promotion push too.

I know we are keeping wages to a minimum but if we offered at top end of our wage cap and promotion bonus, I don't see why we couldn't get a few decent players!

I don't think Lee Camp or whatever that Rotherham keeper is called... would be our no1 choice!

Just saying that's all

It's a good shout Tache and the more I think about it the more I think you're right, which is weird.

Think I'd better have a lie down...

Is he injured at the moment, as he wasn't even on the bench yesterday? If we could get him at the right money, then yes, but I would be happy with Lee Camp and use the money elsewhere.

For some reason a lot of managers don't see him as a first choice keeper. I had heard last season that he doesn't put a lot of effort in during training but then again, neither does Sergio Aguero.

I was quite surprised when palace brought in Mandandandandanda on a free from Marseille in the summer but perhaps it proves this

Not sure if Wayne is injured....as long as he can pass a medical at Cardiff..it's fine..

I've always had a soft spot for Hennessey, but it could just be that he's Welsh Embarassed
As the son of Slumdog says, there must be something about him that some managers don't like, but I don't recall ever seeing anything obvious on the pitch. You could say he's quite injury prone I suppose, which may put a few managers off?

Don't think it would put off our Neil.... as long as the player in question would be willing to give 100%

Hennessey, Ledley and Campbell - the Holy Trinity as far as Wales Online's THREE PLAYERS CITY SHOULD SIGN TODAY - are all wanted by Prem clubs. A case of whether they would drop down on lesser wages for more regular playing time.

I 100% back Arkay's policy that we should judge transfer value by pounds per inch of height. I'd propose we also divide it by their waist line and make it to the power of their lucky number too though. Have to be thorough about these things.

Genuine answer - yeah, absolutely. The addition of Hennessey, Ledley AND Campbell as well as swapping Noone for a winger capable of doing more than cutting inside and either giving the ball away or smashing it into the stands could make promotion a real chance. Probably a little too optimistic however.
