It seems to me that a proportion of younger people don't bother to vote, but still moan about the "state of the country".


Anybody wanting to vote in the upcoming General Election has be registered by midnight Monday 22/05/2017.

Good point TDA. I registered my wife and I for postal voting so that should anything happen on the day we have still voted

We have had to register Proxy Postal votes which has been a nightmare, but at least the facility exists to do that.

Yes, that's the normal thing to do. However, because of the Election being called at short notice and Bank Holidays, the local Electoral Office rang us and suggested the Postal Proxy, as we have no-one on the area where we are registered. Got to say that I was impressed by their service.
