Positive signs perhaps?

on Sat Sep 10, 2016 5:42 pm
I was pleased to read Dalman's comments rubbishing accusations of Vincent Tan's lack of interest in our club.  I felt the tone he adopted was just about right, putting down those who have no idea how football clubs have to operate and pointing out that no matter what Vincent Tan does, there are those who are keen to stick the knife in anyway.

David Marshall could not be expected to hang around in the Championship for ever when he had been denied moves in the past, so it seems that the recent move to Hull was one that was right at this time for both club and player.

We have also heard about "The Cardiff Way", which is something that we should all be able to buy into.  The club has appeared to lack direction for years and years, but the introduction of a distinctive playing style at all levels combined with a greater Welsh presence is something to be applauded.  It won't happen overnight, but so long as the signs are there that this is being implemented, then it should get our full support.

Other clubs, notably Southampton recently, have gone up this route from scratch with a great deal of success.  One of the main cogs in that machine was Ricky Lambert, who I think will be seen to have been a very shrewd investment for us before the season is out.

To be honest all this "the Cardiff way" is all hooha..if the side is in a relegation battle by the end of November, or earlier Trollope will be on his way, not "the Cardiff way"
Sorry but this all smacks of desperation on the part of the Club. They should take no notice what the fans lEaDEr and his cronies come out with. He's a complete and utter tosser.
