**Official Match Day Thread - Burnley v City**

on Tue Apr 05, 2016 5:51 pm
This is going to be a toughie! Anything from this game would be fantastic, particularly with Derby playing Hull.

Burnley look untouchable, but we should have beaten them at CCS.

In games this season, I think only Boro', Hull & Derby have looked a lot better than us over the 90 minutes.  Derby certainly didn't look that good on Saturday and I put that down to City finally playing to their potential.

No reason why we shouldn't upset the odds here and if City take the game to Burnley and not set out to defend deep, then a result may be possible.

I may look even sillier than usual tonight, but 0 - 2 City

Digkacoi in for Whitts. More steel in midfield, so looks like the intention is to grind out a result. Lawrence starts ahead of Noone.

Understand the thinking of grinding out a result but 1) Digkacoi has looked incredibly overweight of late; 2) Our only way of finding the net at the moment is through Whittingham set-pieces.

We have a strong bench, so if we can keep things tight for 60 mins, then there are options for Dikgacoi.

So far, City sound very good

0 - 0 at HT. By the sound of it, City should be ahead by a couple of goals.

Excellent performance by all accounts. Just a pity that Derby chose tonight to find form and stuff Hull 4 - 0.

Best news was that the yellow & black strip stayed on the bus...

Forgot about that kit. Will we actually wear it all now then?

Certainly a good result, even if the gap on the top six has extended. Simply have to win on the Thames on Saturday now.

Do we actually have a third kit this season? Shows how much attention I've been paying scratch

Yes. It's like a Barnet reject kit.
