On the telly at lunchtime......

Don't know what the weather is like in Cardiff, but it's cold, blowy and driving fine rain here today. That's the problem with this time of year, in that the conditions can spoil any chace of playing football. The weather and pitch certainly were a contributory factor in City's game with MK Dons. The same for both sides, yes and perhaps confirmed by the fact that two ordinary teams were unable to score.

Bighton are on a run after a hiatus and have bought quality in Anthony Knockaert. He can win games on his own and I always worry about players like Zamora, who is probably still that bit too good for City's defence to cope with. Give him a half chance and he will bury it. How we could do with a player like that!

I can't see City winning this but hope for a draw, maybe even another 0 - 0.

Got to agree there TDA. I'd deffo take a draw but I fear this strangely underwhelming unbeaten home record will come to an end this weekend.

It's blowing a gale and pouring down in Cardiff TDA. Crowd will be huddled at the back of the stands and won't look good on TV.

...............and from Pilkington & Immers!

Best 45 minutes from Cardiff for ages. Like the look of Lawrence, linking well with Fabio & Immers.

Best half of football in a good few years, that. Incidentally, and not to tempt fate here, when did we last score four goals in a game?

Fantastic result. Not to put a downer on it but, without even looking at who we play next (Boro away?) you just know we'll put in an abject display.

Nor me.

4 lucky goals and a goal of the season from Brighton.
