Mr Slade has refused to answer whether he would like to stay on after the summer. There are allegedly a number of clubs who are interested, so why wouldn't he want to go somewhere where he would be more appreciated? I think we could call it the "Alex Revell Syndrome".

In the meantime, perhaps he does have something to prove in getting City to the play-offs then he might feel entitled to stick up two fingers to the rest of us. That wouldn't upset me too much.

As for tomorrow, it has to be third time lucky and beat the pretty dreadful MK Dons.

Pilkington to start upfront with Lawrence (or Bradshaw for Arkay) with Immers in close support. They could be a very flexible trio, but can our manager be that brave?

I should imagine that Zohore will get a run out at some point. No point in taking someone on loan at this stage of the season if you are not going to play them.

2 - 0 City

City 2-1. Whitts pen and someone else (sorry, I dont think I know any other players). Third game of the season for me. I'm hoping my love for City re-surfaces soon and today would be a good time for this to happen!

What's the weather doing? Any chance that the game won't go ahead?

Mrs TDA has just been speaking to someone in Ross on Wye who says they are in serious danger of getting blown/washed away.

Also had an email from a friend to say that his golf course down Llanelli way is closed due to flooding. Normally unheard of.

Just constant rain at the moment, but match shouldn't really be in any doubt.

Only won back-to-back games once so far this season - truly shocking for a team looking to finish in the top six.

Hopefully that ends today with a 1-0 win (Immers, 18).

It is in doubt, it seems. Pitch inspection taking place right now.

Bristol and Newport games already off. Not sure whether the relaid turf will help matters?

Ideally, we need City to win, Brum v Wed to draw and QPR to beat Ipswich.
