First topic message reminder :

With his job publically on the line, will Slade stubbonly stick to his tried and rusted 4 4 2 line up or will his hand be forced? Will the players rise to the challenge and play for the Boss?

Wolves are on a run, with four consecutive wins, a great habit which City have failed miserably to achieve this year.

Lose this one and I hope that the club moves to get rid of Slade immediately, not in two weeks.

Hate to admit to a defeat, but 0 - 2 Wolves.

Glad I didn't join in all the criticism of Slade.

Dikgacoi on for Mason. No strikers on. Russell's getting imaginative.

Playing without a striker for the close of the game - that's not the Slade we knew. Surrounding Whitts with pace has also worked well, as its afforded him the time and space to control the midfield.

Fair play, I'll give him this one. Special mention for two goals and assist from Noone - finally showing why premier league teams are interested.

Slade's comment to sky reporter
"I didn't see that coming".

In all fairness he got it right today.

In Slade We Trust.

Not seen anything of today's game other than this thread, but I'm just glad to see him try something different in terms of the starting formation. Great result!

My internet went down five minutes before kickoff and has only just come back.

My observation of yesterday is, if Slade changed things around as he was feeling the pressure, why hasn't he done so before?

The cynical part of me thinks it's because the board are on his back now - that when he had Tans full support he really didn't give too much of a sh*t...

We all saw the sort of football Lleyton Orient played under Slade afterall - it's sometimes hard to believe that this is the same man that's now managing our club. Yet suddenly we saw it yesterday when his job is in the balance.
